Postal Source, first began in 2003 with a different name and just 3 employees, a territory that encompassed 4 towns on the banks of the Mississippi River in Iowa & Illinois, a handful of customers, selling and servicing postage meters and small inserters.

Today, Postal Source is proud to support a customer base that spans the entire United States including Puerto Rico.

Postal Source has evolved from representing a single manufacturer to becoming an authorized independent reseller for 17 manufacturers and technology providers, delivering tailored solutions to clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 enterprises.

Partnering with industry leading hardware and technology companies to bring custom built solutions to your organization.

The solutions we provide now leverage AI Acceleration Technologies, intelligent data capture, digital transformation initiatives, document composition software, postal discounting software, production inserters, finishing equipment, intelligent parcel lockers, outsourcing, space planning, consulting and of course, the world still needs postage meters.

For more than two decades now, Postal Source has been solving business problems with passion, creativity and commitment that is unparalleled in our industry.

2007
  • USPS implements Shape-Based- Pricing on May 14th.
  • Postal Source moves from a transactional hardware sales (postage meters & inserters) to a solutions provider with a consultative approach to solving business problems.
  • Postal Source attends NPF (The National Postal Forum) for the first time.
  • Postal Source closes its first postal consulting project with a large, midwest-based credit union.
2008
  • Postal Source is featured on the local news in Paris, France, headquarters of postage meter manufacturer, Neopost, for having sold the most ‘shape-based dynamic scales of all US market authorized resellers.
  • Madison Mailing Equipment was purchased in order to expand the Postal Source territory to include much of Southwest Wisconsin, the greater Madison area and several norther counties.
2009

The United States Post Office (USPS) introduces the Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB).

2010
  • Postal Source is a featured speaker at the National Postal Forum.
  • Postal Source sold its first major account that included 61 postage meters, a production inserter and software.
2011
  • Postal Source closed its first national account, with production systems deployed in Iowa, Arizona and Pennsylvania.
  • Neece Office Equipment acquired.
  • Postal Source footprint now includes the Quincy, IL area and several counties in Missouri.
  • Iowa expansion to include the 380 corridor cities of Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Cedar Falls and Waterloo.
  • Corporate rebranding to consolidate all offices under the Postal Source name and logo.
2012

Postal Source became certified as a woman-owned-business with Jaqueline Costello as majority owner.

2013
  • United Office Systems was purchased and with an office in the northwest suburbs, Postal Source now covered the greater Chicagoland area.
  • Postal Source closed its first enterprise software solution and placed it at a Fortune 500 company in Madison, WI.
2020
  • Postal Source merges sales divisions & locations under one umbrella, promoting Crystal May to President, Sales & Marketing.
  • Postal Source launches its OPO ‘Outsource Provider Option.’
2021

Postal Source signs strategic partner agreement with BIS and begins to sell AI Acceleration Technologies worldwide.

2023

Postal Source is recognized for the 25th time as top dealer by Quadient.
